Reflective Statement

My three years at UNC have been nothing short of exceptional and rewarding in preparing me for becoming a future clinician, as well helping me to develop in multiple ways as an individual. I am so grateful for the countless opportunities and experiences that I have had during my time at UNC and how they have allowed me to grow both professionally and individually. The environment that is cultivated at UNC by both the faculty and students is one that provides constant support and encouragement in challenging ourselves and improving our skills in becoming future physical therapists. I feel so grateful for the amazing faculty that have shaped my professional and personal abilities as a future clinician, as well as the continued constructive feedback and guidance in finishing this final year. I will move into the future with all of this insight and continue to maintain the close relationships I have been so fortunate to build with the faculty and my classmates.

UNC has taught me many valuable lessons including the importance of becoming a lifelong learner and dedicating my practice to both patient-centered care and evidence-based practice. These are the qualities of practice that will enable me to become a well-rounded future clinician and demonstrate the abilities I have obtained during my time at UNC. I am so thankful for the journey I have experienced at UNC and have no doubt that is has been one that will prepare me for my future career as a physical therapist and all challenges I may encounter along the way.
