Samples of My Work:

 Reflection Statement:

I am extremely thankful for my past 3 years at UNC. I have had opportunities to expand my interests and pursue my passions. I was fortunate to gain experience in a variety of settings, from trauma ICU to pediatric school system to outpatient sports. I was challenged and put in scenarios to grow and succeed as a practitioner.

I place a high value on education and learning for personal development. I also hope to continue to expand my knowledge and skill set through my membership in the APTA and continuing education courses. Becoming a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and a Sports Certified Specialist are two more formal ways I plan to continue my growth and development. I hope to find an employer that shares this same value of education and who encourages evidence-based practice.

I have always been interested in soccer and sports from a playing perspective. Through my experiences at UNC, I became passionate about working with and the sports and athletic population. I have become especially interested in injury prevention and methods of implementing injury prevention programs on a small and large scale. I hope to be able to advocate for improved injury prevention implementation in youth sports and help people in the community stay healthy and on the field doing what they love.
